Yoga for the absolute beginner: a 6 week face to face course: £45


The beginner programme is good for you if:
  • You have never done yoga before and you're nervous about joining a mixed class.
  • You'd like to learn the basics - this course covers around 25 of the basic yoga postures and breathing, meditation and relaxation  techniques, so you understand the fundamentals and gain confidence.
  • You'd like to learn enough to be able to practice at home.
  • You'd like to receive a sheet giving you information about the poses  you learn, and access to an online space which has the information on how to practise the poses at home.
  • You are able to commit to all 6 sessions - which will start and end on specific dates.(Please note - there is some flexibility with this - if you cannot attend up to 2 of these sessions you can swap for one of Shona's other classes. However, after 2 swaps if you miss any more you will miss the session completely and there is no reimbursement.)


1) Lakeside Primary School: programme starts Tuesday 6TH September at 6.15 pm till 7.15 pm 

2) Harworth Methodist Church:  Starts Monday 5th September at 6.15pm till 7.15pm 

3) Tickhill Bowling Pavillion (NOT cricket Pavilion!) Starts Weds 7th September at 6.15 till 7.15 pm 

These courses can fill up - so I'd encourage you to book and reserve your space.
You can either pay online when you reserve your space OR pay in cash when you attend the first session. 

The complete course is £45 but brand new students come to the first session for £5 as a trial - no obligation to continue. If you do continue you bring the remaining £40 to week 2.
